black {S0N0} matter facilitates the navigation of black agency through electronic and sonic forms of afro-fabulation. A way to orient around the material spirit of this practice is by feeling it as acts of collaging--archival and speculative--texturally specific forms that are occasionally informed and grounded within a distinctly afro-diasporic sensibility (techno, Congolese soukous, zouk, noise/experimental/glitch) and also queering and challenging notions of conventional (or western-centric) prosody, harmony, dissonance, (a)rhythmicality, etc.
